Civil Engineering Skills Cluster

Following the publication of the Lancashire Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) and the successful launch of the pilot business skills clusters the next wave of collaborative groups are being launched.

In order to deliver on the key priorities employers highlighted through the LSIP, deeper collaboration between employers, providers and other relevant stakeholders. The creation of new business clusters are the key to this.

As part of the next wave we are launching a cluster for civil engineering and groundworks.

We are looking for a good range of employers involved in civil engineering and of all sizes to join us for this first session.

The first meeting of the LSIP Civil Engineering Cluster will be an introductory session to give the background to the group and the reason for setting it up.

This will be an opportunity to discuss the priorities highlighted in the LSIP and to decide on what our initial focus will be as a group.
