Help shape the future of skills provision in Lancashire. Join us in our monthly focus groups focusing on the training needs in hospitality, leisure and tourism, chaired by Marketing Lancashire.
The Lancashire Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) is listening to the voice of employers about what skills they need, where the gaps are in current provision, and how these skills should be delivered. Providers have a duty to take note of employers and incorporate their needs into future provision.
This is your chance to have a say and help develop the changes needed to make the sector more productive and successful here in Lancashire.
The focus of this month's meeting will about staff shortages, how to promote the range opportunities available to potential staff and attract more people into the industry. All hospitality, leisure and tourism in Lancashire are welcome; even if you have not been involved in the focus groups so far we would like to hear from you.
The meeting is being held online via Teams.
Book your place using the form below or, for more information, contact Nick Hyde: nickh@lancashirelsip.co.uk / 01772 653000
Please note, the sector focus groups are for employers. Skills providers have a separate group to hear the findings from the various focus groups (book here). We still want to hear from other organisations with an interest in the sector - please contact Nick (see above) to find out how.
