LSIP Transport & Distribution Skills Cluster

Following the publication of Lancashire Local Skills Improvement Plan, the next stage of activity is getting underway.

In order to deliver on the key priorities employers highlighted through the LSIP, deeper collaboration between employers, providers and other relevant stakeholders. The key to this collaboration are the creation of new business clusters.

The first meeting of the LSIP Transport & Distribution Cluster will be an introductory session to outline the purpose of the group, discuss the priorities highlighted in the recent LSIP report and decide what the group will aim to achieve.

The cluster is a collaborative group that will bring together employers, providers, and key stakeholders to deliver solutions to employer needs.

This group is for any employer engaged in transportation, storage and logisitics whether as the main activity or as part of operations.
